This Privacy Policy describes how ConvertGo: Currency Exchange ("ConvertGo", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the iPhone application and any related in-app purchase features.

ConvertGo is published by Crocopliers. This policy applies to your use of the app on any Apple device.

Information We May Receive

We aim to keep data handling minimal. We may receive limited information necessary to operate the app and support in-app purchases, such as:

  • Basic app diagnostics or crash information
  • Purchase or entitlement status returned by Apple
  • Support messages you choose to send to us

We do not process your App Store payments directly. Payments and billing are handled by Apple through your App Store account.

Currency Data and App Content

ConvertGo fetches exchange rate data from third-party rate providers when you refresh rates or when automatic refresh runs. These requests are standard network calls to retrieve publicly available rate data. No personal information about you is included in or transmitted during these requests.

Currency values, entered amounts, saved rates, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Your routine conversion activity does not leave your device.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

ConvertGo may offer optional one-time in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store.

  • Purchases and subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase

We may receive limited purchase and subscription status information from Apple so we can determine whether purchased or subscribed features should be available in the app.

How We Use Information

Any limited information we receive may be used to:

  • Provide access to purchased features
  • Maintain app functionality and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve app reliability and performance

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only where necessary to operate the app, comply with law, protect rights, or work with service providers that help us maintain the app.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing app features, handling support, complying with legal obligations, and resolving disputes.

Your Choices

You can stop using the app at any time and uninstall it from your device. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings. If you contact us for support, you may also request deletion of information you directly provided to us, subject to any legal obligations we may have.

Children's Privacy

ConvertGo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
